My Brother-in-law would like a spare power-inflator for his Hydros-X he is getting; is his corrugated hose a 1-inch diameter that the DGX spare K-inflator fits?

Yes, it should fit. The Scubapro corrugated hose body is narrower than a standard 1-inch hose but the end flares out to accept the 1-inch inflator.
