Where are you? At times like this a little meat on the profile would be useful.

Lol sorry about the profile. New to this site and diving but I promise to beef up the profile. I live in Florida. I have family that used to dive so I am getting a lot of hand me down gear that is probably on the older side. I just want to make sure it all work properly and passes all the test.

Every year in Australia unless you own your own compressor!

I hate to be a bearer of bad news.... You'll need to find a " GOOD " LDS to fill older tanks in Florida... Forget getting steel 72's filled and most places will not fill any aluminium tanks older then 1995 or so...

Now for the good news... Almost all the tanks that they will not fill are fine... So I'm sure if you but down a city, Someone on here will have a name of a dive shop to fill them at...

Jim...

Any shop that won't fill a steel 72 that passed hydro and vis is one to stay away from like the plague. It is a sure sign that they have no idea what they are doing.

I know.... But that's the deal in Florida... Cave country will fill a 72 steel with 3500 psi..

Jim...

It's actually an old aluminum tank it passed visual inspection as long as it passes hydro they will fill it.
