I fly into Hurghada on 3 May. I've done many of the dive sites in the north Ras Mohammed , Sha'ab abu Nohas, Thistlegorm (which was like a gong show as there were so many divers on the wreck) so ideally I'd like get on a liveaboard going south either for the week or 3 or 4 days. Anyone know of any boats with spaces left?
Any other interesting options/ ideas would be gratefully recevied.

We have been on the Royal Emperor twice and enjoyed it immensely.

The boat is a luxurious 95' steel hulled vessel. Great crew, wonderful dive guides (Grant & Sonya) and excellent food. The last trip we were on was their northern one on March 15-22.

Here is the link to their website so you can check them out: http://www.royalemperor.com/

We book them through Diving World in the UK: world@diving-world.com.

If you do book, please tell Andy that Pearce & Cheryl send their regards. Likewise to Grant & Sonya! :)

Take care,

Have dove out of Hurgada on a shore based op. The diving was great but there were times when you questioned yourself what was going on in Egypt. Different cultures are interesting but a few instances we didnt feel all that safe. We were glad we were with a group.
