dang... when he came straight at you, that was awesome! i just wish there was something in there for scale, couldn't really tell how big they actually were, but cool nonetheless - i LOVE pike....

They were about 20+ lbs... :D
 
dang.... that's right up there with some of the CUDA's that 'investigate' us down here Florida.... but being a Canadian, my first love is still the big ol' Pike....

The record from our lake is 43 lbs. I know they get bigger in Canada, but it's not the same species as ours though. Smaller ones, around 4-8 lbs are great for food. But they are bony, and need some attention when making up the filets. I prefer using them in fish balls. -With cream, onions, salt, black pepper and muscat in them.
