FYI: Hudson Park beach island (Tarpon Springs, FL) will be closed for the next 12 months for repairs and renovation.
I went to check out Hudson Park today to do a little scuba and metal detecting. The causeway that connects the mainland part of the park to the beach part of the park is closed for repair. I was told by a local that the park was closed on the 2nd and won't reopen until next year labor day. Only access to the shore areas is by boat or a long swim.
