I am planning on going to hudson grotto tomorrow morning to test my new sealife camera. If anyone wants to meet me there and do some diving let me know - otherwise I will be freediving :(

Ive never dove it but heard the vis was poor. Was gonna check it out on my Eagles nest/Buford sink trip this fall.

Randy,

The vis is usually 10 -15' and the water is dark and tannic. Maybe I will see you there in the fall.

FYI - I might be going up to Hudson on 8/9 if you wish to go again.

I never made it - I did not have a dive buddy

Thanks - Scuba West is celebrating their 40th anniversary on the 9th and the diving is free.

My wife is doing the Tarpon Triathlon that morning and I will be stuck with babysitting duties until she gets home

Are you kidding? If not....Hudson would be a awful place to try out your camera LOL. The water is really crappy, but if you do post some pics so I can see how they come out.

I agree guys - not the best place to test a camera. I took some photos at the grotto a few weeks ago and experimented without using the flash
