I was on the hunt for some HP 80's found some made by Faber. I currently have worthington LP 85sWhen i came across a shop who actually had them in stock. Scrolling down the page it had the normal comparison paragraphs ect but in bright font it said Not recommended for Nitrox. I found this odd and though maybe there is a specific physical reason like its lined with somthing that doesnt like that much O2 ect. So i called and asked. I was told you shouldnt put nitrox in HO tanks because of danger of explosion ?!?!? because the gas is heated more packing it under preasure.
Now this bolth does and does not make sense to me cant the tanks be filled to my normal 2800-3000 psi then bet let cool and pump in another 700-500 lbs and be safe?
Am I just completely missing somthing? If so excuse my ignorance.
Should i just wait for the worthington HPs being released from inspection at the end of the month?
