I never really noticed before, but after removing, cleaning and replacing O rings on my Suunto SP36 pressure gauge HP spool, I noticed some play in between the hose and the gauge after snug tightening. Hard to tell how much bit I'd guess 1/16" or less, just enough to be noticeable and "click" a bit when the hose is pushed back and forth. Same spool, new 003 rings and a good cleaning. Haven't put it under pressure yet or done a leak test.

Normal?

Thanks!

Completely normal.
You'll know it's okay as soon as you pressurized it in the sink.

Thanks for your response. Pressure tested with no evidence of leaks. Just wanted to be sure since I'd never disassembled and replaced these o-rings b4.
