Just saying hi to everyone. Found this site by accident looking for tank reccomendations.

I figure its finally time to quit borrowing tanks from my buddy and standardize. I also need a different BCD - after 25 dives I now realize that my beginner level BCD sucks. BUT, when you are tall and fat, your selection is limited.

Looking forward to learning a lot from this site.

My recommendation on the BC is a backplate and wings. Very comfortable, very stable, and upgradable. As your diving style and preferences change you can change the components of the rig and not have to spend a great deal of money everytime.
