Prudent_Rabbit:Try a product called "Gloop" available at motorcycles stores, works a treat for Visors on your helmet, Im sure it mest be good for camera cases
Thanks for the help but I think you are missing the point, the point is to keep the water from getting inside the housing in the first place (blow dryer). Some amount of water will always be in your breath from your body, a camera does not breathe... other taking pictures it also generates heat to make steam if water is present.
Take away the source of steam via the water or the heat from the camera, you fix the problem... well you cannot stop the heat from the camera but you can remove most of the water.
Plus I would not put any more "stuff" on the lens to blur the image even more.
