First question, is this really a CONVERTER or an ADAPTER? A converter replaces the DIN connection; an ADAPTER screws on the DIN connection and then connects to a yoke.

I have heard that now Apeks is only shipping DIN regulators WITH (as in including) the DIN-to-yoke ADAPTER.

Can someone verify this?

If this is in fact true this will inform you as to the education level and honesty of your shop. If they told you converter and you get an adapter, they're uneducated and if they charge you for an adapter that's supposed to be included, they're dishonest.

And if neither statement is true, support them.

Ps. Upon further reflection, I think you can get Apeks in either yoke or DIN, but the DIN always comes with an adapter. As I said, I think...

I ordered from simplyscuba and the price for the DS4 was same for DIN or YOKE - I'd be upset if i got TWO ADAPTERS but I dont think so - actually their www says Out Of Stock for now...

If your long hose is 150 inches, it's about 66 inches too long. Seven foot (84 inches) is the maximum hose length you want to use. I would highly recommend checking that hose length so that you don't have too much hose. I bet your girlfriend never told you that before?:)
