Does anyone have any novel ideas on this subject?

Aquamore;)

- Dive clubs
- Group dives with local dive shops -- area LDS's here do group dives every weekend May-October
- Talk to other divers in any courses you are planning on taking
- Message boards specific to your area

As for "good" buddies -- it's a lifelong quest ;-)

Not possible to find one! It has to be an act of God!!!!
Been looking for more than twenty years. oof!

Melissa

Loosing them is heart breaking.;-0
Then you find new ones.

I don't have any better ideas than large_diver, but anybody passing through Chicago, feel free to look me up.

So far I've found 2 or 3 right here on this website... have not dove with them yet, but I'm sure they're good dive buddies... right? ;)

.... and the Dive Buddy web site is a real boost as it incorporates many international dive federation, clubs and the like.

I believe in staying close to my buddies

:) Aquamore
