How to find good dive Buddies

Does anyone have any novel ideas on this subject?

- Dive clubs
- Group dives with local dive shops -- area LDS's here do group dives every weekend May-October
- Talk to other divers in any courses you are planning on taking
- Message boards specific to your area

As for "good" buddies -- it's a lifelong quest ;-)

Actually, I did run across a website the other day

So far I've found 2 or 3 right here on this website... have not dove with them yet, but I'm sure they're good dive buddies... right?

.... and the Dive Buddy web site is a real boost as it incorporates many international dive federation, clubs and the like.
