that's what I used to do... sometimes a couple of cycles lightly inflate, preferably with dry air and not breath..... let it evaporate inside a day or two with it hanging so that the OPV is the low point....then drain and shake...and repeat a time or two till I get no more water droplets out...maybe another time for good measure before putting into storageAfter rinsing and hanging for 24hrs I re-empty it again then re-inflate.
These days my SI is rarely more than seven days, but I've been doing this for years with no issues when SIs were sometimes measured in weeks when I was working.
