When does everyone (wet suit) get back in the water once the ice is gone. In the great lakes that is.

I dive dry. But... I have already been out twice this year with people in wetsuits two weeks ago at a local lake and last wednesday at a quarry. So I quess it all depends on yoru personal comfort level. As far as the great Lakes Im not sure when the charters start to run. If you have your own boat then I guess once again it is detremined by your personal comfort leve.

and then again yesterday. The season has begun an I'm all about the wetsuit at this point in my diving life so I suck it up with towels, robes, coats etc....

water temp at depth is a lil' over 40 degrees... I do pretty good with 14mm of neoprene over my core , but my fingers still get a lil' cold...

so, I guess the season starts whenever you personally can stand the cold... :)

probably between June an July would be a safe bet...

Well, I'm looking at little bay de noc as I type, and there is still ice out there,, but I'm guessing its gonna be gone in a week or two, I dont want to wait till june or july tho. I'll be out befor then I'm sure.
