Alcohol is what I use when I need to remove permanent marker. I prefer ethanol, that way it's one shot for the problem and two shots for me :wink: Anything n the 90 proof range should do the trick.

There's a product called "goof off" that will remove almost anything organic, and still seems to not damage the surface, I even used it when some jerkass graffittied my car and it did not damage the paint.
