Well, I'm not a New England Lobsta Divah... but lately I try to get out every weekend, 2 tanks if possible. If that's not possible, then I get a real itch after 2 weeks of dryness. We only have mudholes here in the midwest.

Only been out 4x this year, bought a new house & I'm:
enclosing the front porch
dormering the back (Cape)
adding a 2 car wide x2 car deep garage w/great room above

but, we did buy a boat last month - so next year is looking good
I hope

During the spring and summer, I try to get out almost every weekend. Sometimes from shore, sometimes by boat. This summer I did a lot of shore dives for training, as I am working through my DIRF course. Let's just say that I've seen way too much of the bottom of Hathaway pond this year. Gotta get the skillllz. ;)

I do 20 dives a year.

What is DIRF course?

1 or 2 tanks every Sunday morning with the odd "sick" day during the week thrown in for good measure.

I live 3½hrs from the coast in the middle of dry, farming territory. I can't get to the coast as often as I can. :(

I try and get out every month of the year and of course dive more often in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Weather kills a lot of dive days in January, February and March most years.

Most all my dives are shore dives in the Cape Ann area of Massachusetts or in the Passamaquoddy Bay area of Maine and New Brunswick, Canada. Used to get down to the tropics once or twice a year but with a new Summer home in Lubec, Maine most of our vacation time is spent there.

When I dove NE the first year it was a couple tanks almost every weekend in the warmer weather, the second year a couple tanks every other weekend... gave that up now I average 3-4 weeks a year in warm places.
