Just getting back into diving and trying to make it a "regular" activity. I've been diving on and off (mostly off) since 1992, recently purchased some equipment that is not 15 years old (can't wait to try it out), and am just curious as to how often you get out there (and how often you would, if you could ;).

I dive every weekend! :D

Either I'm diving at the semi-local quarry, or driving the four hour trek to Marianna...the only way I'll miss a weekend is if I'm sick or I "volunteer" to work that day.

If I had my way, I'd be in the water 2-3x a week, but that pesky thing known as "work" gets in the way...

Congrats on getting back into diving! :)

My wife and I make it point to dive at least once a month either on one of the terrific local boats or a nice trip to Catalina for a dive (or three!) in the park there.

This month we are diving tomorrow in San Diego and next week we are meeting some other SB'ers at Catalina.;)

I'm too busy most of the time to dive more than once or twice a week. If I had my way I'd dive a lot more than I do.

I average about 275 dives a year ...

MY wife and I try and take at least two trips to the caribbean a year for a week at the time. Sometimes I'll get in 3 trips myself. Of course I'll do the local quarry now and then and off the coast of NC.

By the way, I see you are in Raleigh! I grew up in Raleigh and now live in the Wake Forest area. I'd like to invite you to one of our dive club meetings if you ever get the chance to come. Our website is: Bull City Divers, Dive Club, Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill

I'm currently serving as VP of the club and we'd love to have you join us!

Oh yes. If I could, I'd dive at least one more dive a year than Bob. :D

Thanks BDSC!

I have seen your site and have been trying to figure out which way to go (local dive shop guys or one of the local clubs). I guess I should update my profile as I too live in Wake Forest, not actually Raleigh. Did my refresher at Fantasy Lake with Carolina Dive Center. I will check out the club site again and see if I can make your next meeting.

As often as I can. Honestly, it's about 2 weekends a month. There are 3 SCUBA parks within an hour of me, so that definately helps. Usually I get out to blue water only once or twice a year.

I do between 70-100 dives per year. This breaks down to roughly 1-2 dives per week, except for the past two weeks when I haven't dived at ALL because school sucks.
