How much to spend on used equip/ What to look for?

I've got a chance to go diving in Maine this weekend. My LDS has rented all their gear but told me they were having an end of season sale on new and used equipment. My wife and I just bought regulators, so we feel tapped. I also wouldn't want to buy cheap/beaten equipment that we would just replace as soon as possible. That said, if they have good equipment at great prices we'd consider it. What would you consider a great price on used gear consisting of the following:

1) BC
2) 7mm suit
3) Weight belt + weights
4) Hood
5) Tank

What would you look for? What would you avoid? Any other suggestions?
