How much extra weight for 3 mil?

For what it's worth, I carried 2-3Lbs with an old 3mm full suit/AL80.

I bought a new 3mm full and had to jump to 6Lbs for the first several dives. After about 6 dives, I was back to carrying my normal weight.

That's sound about right. I did 6lb extra today and was still had no air in my BC. I was also having trouble staying down went I got below 1000psi. I think I need about 8lb until it gets crushed at the depths a few times.

I guess my lds didn't steer me wrong after all.
