How many of you use an inline cutoff switch to your 2nd stage?

The valve also represents an additional failure point. I have seen one get crushed on the boat and then explode when pressurized. We used to use one on the second stage of a 30 ft long oxygen deco hose that we hung from the boat. It worked well for this application, since we could throw the second stage down to the diver and not have a free-flow and if the diver forgot to open the valve, he got nothing and still had his primary tank to breath while he figured it out.
