Hi All - Had a wonderful trip to Bali last September and going back for 10 days in March. I plan to spend most of my time in Tulamben upgrading the photo's I took in September and looking for new stuff.
I have seen Manta's on several occasions but never photographed them in clear water and thought it would be nice to get some decent shots. I am hoping that I can do that at Manta Point - Nusa Penida - Is 2 days enough or should I plan on 3 days? I understand it all depends on weather and seas but if the seas are kind is 2 days enough? I am planning to stay at Pondok Baruna and dive with World Diving.
The reason I ask is that I want to maximise my time in Tulamben and have little interest in Mola Mola as I saw plenty of them when I was young in Sydney and frankly I don't think they are that photogenic. Also I am going to be there during a religious holiday and lose one days diving there.
regards and happy new year to all.
