was there anything of merit in your post other than trying to slam me? I refuse to get in a "tit for tat" with you or any of your ilk. You are obviously NOT here for the info, but to cause controversy instead. Get a life.

You asked your "legitimate question"... and it got answered several times. Now you are challenging the answers and trying your best to discredit me. That is the essense of being a troll. I am sure there are other boards elsewhere that like your sophomoric sniping. You have the right to hate me as much as you do... I won't return the favor.

............This thread has gone this far without mentioning DIR..............

It's a little too late for you to take the high road, NetDoc. Your lack of character is already well established.

As for the pop-under thing, I just had a chance to launch IE cleanly and go to SB without opening up anything except my company's home page (which, believe me, has no trojan horses or other hacker goodies lurking about). After several tries of leaving and coming back to SB, I was not able to get any pop-under windows to appear. It appears that I was wrong. SB does not use pop-under windows and I apologize for making the accusation. After a little more digging, what I believe happened was that another site I regularily visit, www.signonsandiego.com (the home page for the San Diego Union Tribune newspaper) does use pop-under windows, especially for travel sites. Spectre was right, and remnants of these sites were hanging around and poped out under SB when I left the site.

So again, I was wrong about the pop-unders, and I admit my error. I apologize for the unfair accusations.
