I need a new drysuit, which I will mostly use for cave diving in Florida and shore diving in California. I've been looking at the Hollis DX-300X (I like the price/features/availability), but I can't seem to get a sense for how heavy it is - I want something relatively light and easily packable. How thick/heavy/stiff is the material? Would you travel with it?

My old drysuit (Waterproof D7 Pro ISS Cordura) seems to have mysteriously shrunk too much to use anymore, but it is so heavy/bulky I wouldn't want to travel with it anyways. Material is VERY stiff and heavy - feels like overkill. The suit, bag, and undergarment weigh in at 17 pounds. (For reference, my wife's DUI TLS 350 + bag + undergarment total 8.5 pounds. Not a perfect comparison, but clearly substantially different.)

Thanks!
