How far do you drive to dive?

4 hours about every other weekend during the summer if I can make it. Horrible drive by yourself.
 
45 minutes to a local quarry (only open about 6 months of the year). {sigh}

Pretty close to 8 hours to Beaver Lake or Table Rock. :rolleyes:

OTOH, the airport is only a half-hour away and I can be picking up a rental car in FLL in 5 to 7 hours. :D

You tell me how my time is best spent. :wink:
 
1/2 hour local lakes and quarries including closest dive site on lake michigan If it's not too icy or snowy !

Where have you been in Korea, The East Sea?

South, East and West actually. All over. My favorite is the north east near Sukcho. Best vis and close dive sites.
 
From Manila to Anilao: about 2.5 hrs through the mountain roads.

From Manila to Subic: about 2.5 hrs, half using highways, half through country roads.

From Manila to Puerto Galera: 2.5 hrs to Batangas City, 45 minute bangka ride to PG.
 
5 hours to Monterey, 3.5 hours to North Coast diving, 2 hours to whiskeytown (not worth it), 3 hours to Tahoe
 
* 2 miles to Dana Point, followed by a 26 mile ride on the Catalina Express to get to Avalon, Casino Point.
* 8 miles to local shore diving in Laguna.
* 50 miles to Long Beach, followed by a 22 mile charter boat ride to Catalina front side.
* 54 miles to shore diving and dive operators in La Jolla.
