How do you ladies deal with long hair?

I just put mine in a ponytail and let it do what it wants. Granted I don't have that many dives so I haven't had to deal with it for a long time. It only annoys me when I have to remove it from the top of my mask but I found its a source of entertainment for the people I dive with.
