You can't, but you can just wipe out the contents. Perhaps leave a "dup post" note in it's place.
Just an FYI to others who may have the same question:
Find a moderator who's online and ask them to take care of it for you. Moderator names are in green in the "Who's online" list at the bottom of the list of forums. Any moderator can help you out just as Justleesa did here
