Your post was helpful, I was commenting on some of the other less helpful posters. We were all newbies once and some of us were trained through dive shops that did not discuss equipment in depth. I think it would be better to ask a question than to crack a case because of not using a backup wrench.
Agree, the things I now know about diving took many years to learn. I remember years ago being on a boat and my cam band buckle broke, I had no idea how to change it and a nice DM showed me how to do it. Now having that knowledge it seems like a very simple to do but at the time without the DM I was completely lost, it seemed like a super complex task. Thanks for your clarification. Cheers.
