Mike Veitch:
I guess just a couple of weights in the non dumpable pouches on teh back would be considered integrated?

I would consider anything attached to the rig and not the diver to be "integrated"
jmo though

But it's my poll :14:

SS BP/W with XS Scuba weight pockets. I add a weight belt with a neoprene drysuit.

with 3mm shorty, 4lbs on either side of BC (8 lbs in total)..

My wife carries all my weight to the dive site, then I stick it in my BC.

Belt without a shadow of a doubt. I tried a few harnesses but never got totally happy with them. I dont class weight integration as safe, comfortable or practical for large amounts of lead.

This is the first negative response I have seen to a weight harness. What didn't you like?

Use a DUI weight harness. Had intagrated for many dives till I went bug hunting for the first time. Did not have weight on myself so I coudl not take my BC off to get into the tight crevaces. Since then I have swiched to the harness and would never go back.

steel BP plus weight belt

If the amount of weight is too much to safely ditch, a couple of weights go on the harness.

In warm water i put all my weight (12-14lbs) in integrated pockets of my Sherwood Avid BC. In cold water i will split half on a weight belt and half in the pockets.
