Well, not only Poseidon, you are forgetting GSD !!!Makes no difference.
The second stage could care less what’s supplying it as long as it’s a steady 140 psi, who cares?

This was an Italian company building very original regulators, using an IP of just 4 bar (that is less than half as "normal" ones).
Halving the IP pressure was compensated by USING TWO SECOND STAGES simultaneously...
I am not joking, I used a Spinnaker by GSD, and it had two parallel second stages feeding the mouthpiece.

The one thing you need to be mindful of is the intermediate pressure. Poseidon is the only make that has this peculiarity that I am aware of.
