i took my Olympus in water 5degrees c in 2007, the air temperature was about minus 3 celcius. I would suggest that the batteries only do one dive though. Does that help?

Our recommended operating temperatures for the cameras are from 33f - 110f. Battery functionality is the biggest concern as the cold will make the camera act sluggish and have a shorter life.
