But our OP wants somewhere easy to get to. There was no way that I was ever able to get a flight in early enough at Trinidad to then fly to Tobago. Then it's one heck of a drive up to Speyside. Then there's absolutely nothing to do when not diving. I should have stayed at Blue Waters Inn.

And yes, I also thought of Grenada but again, not as easy to get to from Ohio as is Cozumel.
