Hotel recommendations in Valladolid area

Let me see if I can find the name of the place we stayed at in Feb or March. It was about $45 a night which included breakfast. It wasn't fancy but it was just fine for my tastes. Clean and quiet and not many rooms. Ek Balam is AMAZING!

Found it: Tunich Beh on 41A. It's a funny little side street a couple of blocks from the bus depot.

thanks! I saw that one on Expedia search. Nice to get a rec from someone who stayed there. I have a few now, on my list. Once it gets closer I will book airfare and then the hotel.
It looks like we might fly into Cancun, do 2 days on Mainland, then ferry to Cozumel for diving the remainder of trip. It would save a 1/2 day of dealing with transit that way, so more time with ruins or cenotes.
