Hi.
I've got an Oceanic Delta 5 second stage, and I want to replace the LP hose.
The reg does not have the 2 nut arrangement where you hold the body of the reg with one wrench and undo the hose with another. It's got the hose nut which threads directly onto the cylindrical heat exchanger. There's a couple of holes in the heat exchanger that look like they might use a special tool to hold them.
My question, is a special tool required, or do I simply hold the body of the reg and loosen the hose with an appropriately sized wrench? I can't find a service manual online for the 5, but the delta 4 manual says to just hold the body of the reg. I don't want to risk damaging the reg, but I doubt have the time to go to a store to get them to change the hose for me. Anyone got any experience, or ideally access to a service manual they could share??
Thanks!
