hose clamp for p valve connection?

Anyone use anything like this on the connection from the cath to the hose? Seems like cheap insurance against a blow-off. Any reason why this would be a bad idea?

Not required. Not enough pressure to worry about. The condom will be the first to go anyways.
 
Gosh I'm glad the hose clamp is being considered between the hose and the cath. The thread title conjured up a whole other visual.

LOL!! I just got my samples of Rochester Wide-Bands in the mail, and they look quite formidable, so no clamps required on that end. :D
