Any previous Horizon divers that can help with a ??. We arrive in SAN at 4:00 pm and the boat doesn't board until 7:00 pm. Any good restaurants or somewhere to hang out that won't take us too far away from the airport - harbor area? This is our first liveaboard and I'm just asuming that they don't serve dinner on the departure night.

I haven't been on the Horizon, but I have done a few liveaboards in Calif. Most of the boats will let you go ahead and board early if the boat is ready. I am guessing you are flying in and your arrival time is 4pm? If so, by the time you get your bags and drive there it will be close to boarding time anyhow. We have found that you can board the liveaboard boats, drop off gear and set up BC & tanks(do it before it gets dark), then get off boat and go to a restaurant for dinner. Almost everyone does this. They can recommend a place close by. You just need to be back at the boat before it leaves and not wake anyone who is already onboard and asleep downstairs.
