Hood Canal diving: How polluted + how invassive is it?

Vis is sketchy...could be 15ft-???
It really isn't as bad as it seems. Yes, there is a problem but as of now it isn't affecting the divers.
Usually the hot summer months are when the life gets stressed.
Go dive Sund Rock, always a great dive.

Dove to the right at Mikes beach resort 2 weeks ago and saw at least a dozen wolf eels, a couple of octos and plenty of fish. Vis was horrible above 30ft but if you like night diving the vis was great below that just quite dark. This was my first time in Hood Canal and I would certainly do it again.

Agreed. Sund Rock is in my top 3 of great dives. Don and Diane run a great dive charter.
