I'm about to order a Hollis Elite 2 harnis with aluminium backplate.
It's for coldwater scandinavian diving in drysuit as well as warm water diving.
I'm not into tec diving (at least not for now), and will be using single tank setup.
But not sure what bladder to order with it. I can get a 25 and 38lbs blader
Can anyone guide me to which one will be most suitable for my needs ? Also suggestions for alternative setup's within the same price range is very much apreciated.
Thanks.
Ulrik

I have the Halcyon Eclipse Setup, They have 30-40lbs for there 2 options The LDS recomended the 40' thats I had went with.

I tend to go for the 38Lbs as well. Not having much experience on wings and bladders, is there any disadvantages having a big bladder instead of the smaller 25lbs ?

Why don't you get both 25 and 38? I use the 25 with warm water diving and it's more than enough. Not sure if it'll be enough for a drysuit. You can post on the Hollis page and Nick will surely answer your question.

I have a 38 and I love it. My son has the smaller wing it has plenty of lift for warm water but I would not use with dry suit

i have an HTS2 with the 25lb wing and its awesome...but yea i think i agree it would not be enough with a dry suit.

actually been thinking of adding the bigger wing to my bag for colder water diving

Thanks for your inputs guys. I will definitely go for the 38 now and have the possibiity of adding a 25 later for warm water diving
