Hollis 212 vs Hollis 500SE

Testing using different equipment may compromise the numbers for comparison. Further, some of the results are not strictly numerical outputs, but grades from test users. Without a head to head, I don't know how one can say with such confidence that one or the other wins by such a landslide like you suggest.

Anyone know why 500SE + DC7 set is discontinued? Have any problem with the design?

I love mine. I suspect it's a profit consolidation move based on units sold. I suspect the Omega's brought a bad smell to the marketing that even the 500se couldn't overcome.
