On my K2, I don't even hook up the secondary bladder. In an emergency I can either orally inflate OR hook up a line.
I get that — I’m not a redundant bladder person anyway 😅
If the dive needs redundant buoyancy a drysuit should suffice in my case

Max training depth for Full TRIMIX is 330'(100m). This is the limit for dives during training not post training. If I remember correctly just like every other manual it says you can exceed that based on training and experience. There is at least one agency that has an expedition TRIMIX class that trains to 150m.

...He told me that generally is frowned upon because some equipment warranties cover depths to 330ft...

I won't buy anything with sealed airspaces rates less than 200m. This way I don't ever have to worry about it at depths I'm willing to go. Plenty of manufacturers make equipment rated this deep and beyond.
