I didn't dive any of the springs while I was up there. I was tempted, but I want my official 100th dive to be the Hole in the Wall, so I contained myself. I'm so looking forward to the weekend. Sunday's dive was with a group that did a Shark Canyon and reef dive. It was fun, but I like the sites JDC brings us to better.

i'd love to do that dive but it's too deep for me to do on air/ean
when I get trimix/deco it's on the top of the list

Saturday they're doing a night dive on HITW. The moon will be pretty full by then.

They are doing the Hole in the Wall on Sunday as a three tanker. Saturday night is going to be a beautiful full moon two tank dive, but will not be to the Hole. If you want to do the Hole in the Wall, come Sunday. If you want to do a full moon night dive, come Saturday night. Heck, come for both! :D:D

I just now saw this post and have always wanted to do hole in the wall. Is it too late to get on the trip? If not who, who do I call?
Ed

Ed, I talked to Gerry at JDC today, and he didn't indicate that the boat was full yet. The number for the shop is 745-7807 (otherwise you can sign up via email on their website that flstarfish44 gave you). I know there's a lot of people interested, and quite a few people who are already signed up, so you might want to give them a call ASAP to make sure you get in on it.

Carrie, yeah, it was major......I almost went through the DT's......lol. I left my gear at home so I wouldn't be tempted, then hoped that nothing would happen Sunday that would cancel my 2 dives. I have everything calculated to come out the way I want it. A whole week of not having to work and not going diving was major self-control. It won't happen again.....LOL......until my 500th.

I guess their newsletter was a little obfuscated.--->

Oh well...it woulda been a cool dive.

It will still be a cool dive. Even with a full moon on Saturday night, the depth of the Hole is too deep to be able to see much without a light for a night dive. Why don't you join us on Sunday for the three tanker with lunch? You'll be able to see so much more in the daylight. C'mon, Tom, do it, you know you wanna do it, everybody does it, do it!:blinking:
