New to ScubaBoard.com. Joined because of a presentation on Lake Travis, Mansfield Dam archives at LCRA. Austin, TX. Groups of divers are trying to use old photos of 1930's dam construction to find platforms, roads, timbers, pipes, tunnels, etc. A quarry with towers and overhead cable system was used to convey rock to crusher and then to dam site. Water levels went from normal 681 normal pool elevation to 630 elevation this summer so it makes for much shallower and easier dives as they try to locate some of these old construction features. Some platforms, timbers, and pipe have been found and it is a work in progress.

I dive yearly in Aruba last 10 years. If you go there use JADS divers. Avoid Mermaid!

Usually two other trips a year I meet friend someplace cool.

Last summer in Aruba found the Flaming Reef Lobster in a tug wreck.
