I love my HOG sets.

The SE and DUROC are a great price - looks like the only difference is there is more plastic and less metal VS the classic. Im not sure how I feel about the plastic hose connection threads...........

The threads are not plastic. As someone who sells, services, and dives the SE,

I can assure you that the threads are not plastic,

they are simply plated black instead of chrome. The faceplate retaining ring, adjustment knob, and threads are still metal. All that is changed is the case color.
