This may be a bit late, but: (1) JimLap's idea had merit; (2) Web Monkey is right about reputations...do you really want perspective employers seeing the video of you on Youtube? (3) Nonetheless, take a date. There is probably a young lady who desparately wants to go to the prom and needs a guy to ask her. Ask her. Decide you are going to have a good time and you probably will. Ignore the fact you may not like the music and can't dance. Just do it. Then get the PADI certification card for proms.
