Hitting the big five-oh

Kathy, the spring was only an inch or so long and I would imagine the cloth covering would have been with the missing part of the spring. Good question though, as to how the spring could've broken, I have no idea. I hate leaving any thing in the ocean that doesn't belong there, I wish I could've safely brought it back in. Maybe another day.
