hmmm I have always wondered what would happen if the opposing team started blowing them kisses while they did that?

Ohmygosh!!!! :rofl3::rofl3: Blowing kisses!! :kiss2::kiss2::rofl3::rofl3:

I was playing the video and Phil pipes up with "Rugby???" He knows whats up. :D

They'd probably kill and eat them like the old-school Maori. :) Mmmmm... fried French.

Actually there were a couple interesting incidents at the World Championship Under 19 Softball Tournament here a couple years ago. I was doing the first aid coverage.

The beginning of the week everyone was saying.. "Hey did you see that thing the Kiwis do before their games... ya gotta see it!" After 4 days "Oh boy... there they go again!"

5th day when they played the US team as soon as they started the HAKA every single US player, coach, family member and bystander stood up and turned their backs to them! That wasn't very well received by anyone!

The final day they played the Canadians for bronze. The Kiwis started the Haka and the Canadians started a North American War Dance.... when both finished their war dances the game began.

It was actually well received by everyone. You gotta respect the cultures....

Agreed. But the US hasn't been very good at that for a while... unfortunate. Hopefully that'll change though.

This is getting good. :popcorn:

Better every day. :)

Well it's a good thing I'm funny then! ;)

hey is that funny haw haw or funny peculiar? We don't discriminate here... obviously since you barrack for the All Blacks... actually I must admit someone prejudiced me against the All Blacks before I even came here

Wow. That's embarrassing but, not surprising.

Well the result was very interesting. People started murmuring about it and not long later everyone that wasn't playing or connected to a team that was playing elswhere at the facility were watching the NZ/US team and cheering for the NZ team. People from SA Isreal, people who couldn't speak the same language were trying to get the Mexcan wave organized. I felt sorry for the US team even if their behavior was rude they mjst made a poor decision about how to respond to the situation others were getting annoyed with too. They came with their hopes and hard effort to get there... then to have people cheer against them that way.... I think everyone behaved badly in the end!

One thing you have to say about Canadians.... we are very polite, we are good losers.... :D probably cause we get sooooooo much practice at it heheheh:rofl3::rofl3::rofl3:
