so B do you qualify as one who loves their job?

Funny thing is I do really love what I do but some mornings it is still hard to go to work...once I get there I normally really enjoy it....just getting started is sometimes a drag... but then I would rather be diving somewhere nice and pristine.

Don't think I could work as a dive operator tho day after day tho

Maged if you could do anything in the world.. any job... what would it be?

B you have changed the pic in your avatar.... new mask I see..... but still upside down :ROFL3: after diving with you I can see why... or is it just when you are in the southern hemisphere that you like to hang about upside down?

Since I spend most of my time talking to Aussies I thought I would give them the proper perspective. I guess I need another avatar when talking to northern hemispherians (hemispheroids...hemisphericans.....:shakehead:) Well, you know:cool2:

Hi Maged, Bygolly, and Petunia!!

I'm writing you from Bonaire. You know that but, it feels really good to say it!!!

I read 1/2 of Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy and have decided that Phil needs to change his nickname here to Zaphod Beeblebrox. Or even just Zaphod will do. I have to read it again and highlight all the great quotes in it.

Yippeee it's my favourite Tiggrr :hugs: how's the diving?

Yup I do love my job. I have almost complete autonomy...and that is vanishingly rare thing for a gov employee to have. That is something I would have trouble giving up. Now when I retire...which may be very soon...I have actually toyed with the idea of training up to the DM level and do some part time work in the dive biz. But it would be very part time...I would want to be in the position that I didn't have to do it if I didn't want to....the autonomy thing being important again. Now to find someone who would put up with me and my "yawn" attitude. ;)

Maged, Nice to meet you and I have to agree with the others about the quote.....

Hi!!

Nice. Only did one so far. We were so drained from traveling, we slept til 1. Did our check out and got some dinner. Gonna do a night dive around midnite. :D

Saw flounder, golden tail moray, spotted moray, drum, and a sweet pink anenome with about 4 of those brown and white striped shrimp in it. They were soooo tiny.

The DM warned us the current was bad and conditions were a bit bad. But, it was nothing. A 2 ft surge in the shallows. Was worried we would have to work. I hate working. :D
