Hi 'Tunias....wherejafindthesharks

Hi 'Tunia,

Glad to be back from Hawaii - the underwater whale song was becoming a bit tedious ha ha! The cold here now is abit much though.

Fishrock. The shallow entrance the first dive about 9 or 10 cruising a few left and 3 or 4 stayed cruising back and forth posing for pics... I found a few teeth for souvenirs. The second dive at the shallow entrance only 3 very co-operative sharks heaps of wobbies

The deep entrance gutters... AW lost count after 40 sharks. They were cruising above below and beside us... calmn as anything. Almity1 got a shot with more than a dozen sharks in it.

Viz was 10 to 15 m but lots of sediment and backscatter without a strobe.

$ or 5 turtles as well It was awesome and all the SB divers were great in and out of the water... what a geat time

Hi Acanturus and Bygolly... soo excited to see someone here I forgot to hand out a :hugs: or two lol

So what did you see in Hawaii? did you have a good trip? Do tell:popcorn:

:grouphug: back atcha

Great diving off the Kona Coast. Met some nice folks with Dive Makai and Sandwich Isle Divers. Lots of fun. Great vis (well at least for us...the locals thought it pretty bad at 100 ft) and lots of critters. Serenaded with whalesong most dives and got swooped by mantas on the night dive.
