I have a drysuit now

They look so cumbersome, especially after my 3mm. I guess when I do the course I'll think differently, or when I'm diving in Lake Superior and it's 4 C!

Looking forward to it, but not so much the drysuit.

Its not that bad really. You will be very warm and that is a good thing.

drysuit fit is all important .. one thing aboot that Whites Fusion that makes it so flexable is that it's oversized shell, inside a stretchy outer covering that takes up all the wrinkles

So where did you get yours from and how much do I have to go into debt to buy one? Or is it cheaper to rent?

one thing is .. get good training from someone that knows what they are doing and will stress you .. I never would have guessed a drysuit could be so dangerous when things go wrong, or how to keep things under control without it

White's Fusion? I'll have to google that. I can see I have a lot to learn...it's never ending isn't it? As for diving fresh water, never done that either.

Most places won't rent you a drysuit without proof of training

Mine off of ebay, plus the needed new neck zip seal and new zipper .. $1200

you can find new suits in the $700 dollar range

I heard that, and knowing how to react and be safe is important, so I plan on doing a course when I get over there.

mine is a DUI Flex 50/50 .. would have been $2500 new
