Tell me about it. I bet it was very exciting though.

I had a job offer last September. Great pay, benefits, and really challenging. But, the owner wanted to practically own me. 6 days a week. Came off very manipulative as well. I just can't go from all this freedom to being confined like that.

yep that's what I like about fish's job.. he has reasonable amount of freedome too.

I looked over my schedule and realized from Nov 14 through to the following April 1 I had been on call 75% of the time 24 hours 7 days a week. Even when I wasn't on call for the ambulance I was on call as Unit Chief and a team member of the CISD Team

When fish came to visit.. my pager went off 3 times in the first 24 hours even tho I was 14 hours away from my station... he threatened to turn the thing off. Someone was being paid to do my job but I still had to be "contactable" Crazy way to live.... :shakehead:

Zen have you taken over the shop yet or is it going to be a transition? You've been teaching there anyway haven't you?

Yep, we signed paperwork this weekend.
I was running it this year, but it was hard with some of the restrictions placed on us.
It is going to be fantastic.

Sorry that took so long... a parent just dropped in....

I am learning to say this really great word.... NO! NO, I'm sorry.. I would like to be able to do that but I have to say no!

It's a great word and not that hard to say really... nnnnnnnnnooooooo why did it take so long to learn it?

Ugh! Now THAT is frustrating!! Your first 24 hours with Fish interrupted by that. Thats what I want to avoid. My personal time is very important to me, as yours is too. When I leave work, I leave work. And when I schedule time off, I mean it. The being 'on call' is understandable but, please! Cutting into the Fish time! No good. :shakehead:

How long have you 2 been together??

So Zen, I guess you must be planning on staying in Kuwait for a while since you bought a dive shop.

Night honey. Good to see you!! Dream some sweet, naughty dreams.:D

Well, going home in this economy would be really bad for us, so we are going to have a good run here. We want to buy tropical property to retire and run a couple of boats there. Possibly Costa Rica-ish...

Night Petunia and Fishy!!

Gonna try for a few more hours. I'll post pics later.
