It seems like everyone's gone NZ...best go talk to you on skype...

TTFN.

sorry got side tracked BIG TIME!

figured I would goggle the name of both of our studs... got a big hit dragged me down memory lane...

We bought *Fol Yasmeen an Egyptian Arab Import from Don and Peggy White of Coer d Alene Idaho but left him there for 4 month to finish the breeding commmitments there and less than a week before we were to pick him up he died. HWe had bred to hm and known him for a number of years and our next stud was his son Fol Zahraht.

*FY was a very famous and incredible animal.. we were priviledged to own and know him. The farrier who worked on him said. "I may not be able to own him but I can be close to him" and applied for a work visa to come to Canada and work in our area. That is the impact he had on people... what an amazing creature he was!

check this link StraightEgyptians.com Forum -> Fol Yasmeen Straight Egyptians - The Egyptian Arabian Horses Resource there is a picture of him there.

that is an interesting discussion because the political issues behind him being deemed NOT straight egyptian were related to dollars and competition for stud fees.... long story
